It's originally written for the piano - In this video, Chihiro plays both parts on two different marimbas as if she is playing a duet with herself.
この曲はピアノ曲ですが、このビデオでは一人で右手と左手の両パートを２台違うマリンバで演奏し、あたかも自分とデュエットしているかのように見せました。

This was my first music project I did with composer Yui Kitamura.
written during Covid-19 lockdown period in NYC in 2020. recorded (audio & video) in NYC. filmed in July 2020.
Here you can see what it is like to play on Broadway through my eyes. I performed as a percussionist in the Miss Saigon on Broadway from 2017-2018.
"Willie's Dream" was inspired by the song "The Locket Song" by William Fullerton Jr., a lost composer from Newburgh, NY. This work is for the Artist-In-Vacancy project by Newburgh Community Land Bank in collaboration with visual artist, Kate Bae.

Blackbird is one of my favorite songs, and I'm sure many of you feel the same way! Since I don't play the guitar (or at least not yet!), I really wanted to find a way to play this beautiful song on marimba. In this cover, I tried to capture the feelings of the original song as much as possible. Please let me know what you think in the comment section!
ブラックバードは昔から好きな曲なので、どうしても自分の弾ける楽器で演奏してみたくてこのアレンジを作ってみました。オリジナルのギター＆ヴォーカルの雰囲気をなるべくそのまま表現することを目指しました。
